Extranet Login
The VICSES Extranet is a secure website containing information and resources specifically for VICSES Members. It is an on-line tool to assist with communication and management of VICSES business, both Administrative and Operational. Access is limited to members (Staff and Volunteers) of the Victoria State Emergency Service, and the site is hosted by the Department of Justice (DoJ).
The VICSES Extranet will automatically open as the Internet Explorer homepage from a PC on the VICSES Wide Area Network, i.e. at a Regional Office or Unit location (LHQ). Members who wish to access the VICSES Extranet from a personal computer (i.e. from work or home) need to be added into the DoJ External User Directory to be issued a username and password.
To be added into the DoJ External User directory and assigned an individual username and password, Members need to complete a ‘VICSES Extranet New User Form’. The completed form needs to then be forwarded to the VICSES IT Section.
Once a member has been added into the DoJ External User directory a confirmation email containing login details will be generated back to the member. The duration between submitting an application form and receiving confirmation of login details may take up to 2-3 weeks.
Should a Member leave the service, Extranet login privileges will be removed.
All VICSES Staff and Volunteers are encouraged to apply for an individual username and password to access the VICSES Extranet.
