 | VICSES reflects on 1934 Floods
This week VICSES, in partnership with Melbourne Water, will mark the 75th anniversary of the 1934 floods which struck Melbourne causing significant damage with over 36 deaths, in excess of 10,000 residents homeless and 6 metres of water covering Kooyong Tennis courts. |  | 24 November 2009 |

VICSES in partnership with Melbourne Water will host a week long educational exhibition at the State Library this week. With the 75th anniversary of the 1934 devastating floods it is a timely reminder that floods can happen at any time.
Free community information sessions will be held on the following dates and times at the State Library:
- Wednesday 25 November 5pm to 8pm
- Thursday 26 November 5pm to 8pm
- Saturday 28 November 10am to 1pm
