Rochester and Echuca flood guides

Published 23/11/2012

Local flood guides for Rochester and Echuca are now available.

The Rochester and Echuca Local Flood Guides allow the community to prepare for the threat of flood in their area and were created by Victoria State Emergency Service (SES) in partnership with the Campaspe Shire Council and the North Central Catchment Management Authority.

The guides aim to provide residents with a clear understanding of the risk they face from flooding in their home and the steps they can take to prepare. They include specific, local information on flooding, how it occurs and what residents can do to stay safe during floods.

All current local flood guides, including the new Rochester and Echuca guides, can be found in our FloodSafe section.

SES will be launching guides for other areas of Victoria in the coming months.
