Published 25/10/2013

If you’re heading to the Sandringham Village Festival this Sunday, make sure to visit Victoria State Emergency Service’s (SES) Moorabbin Unit. Family Fun

Moorabbin SES volunteers will host a display throughout the event, which is on from 9am until 4pm, on Waltham Street (police station end), Sandringham.

Visitors can explore the SES truck and equipment and learn about storm and flood preparation. Prizes are on offer for children who participate in one of the many activities on offer, including assembling a home emergency kit, identifying floodwater hazards, a knot tying competition and the SES storm and flood magnetic game board.

The Sandringham Village Festival is a family day for the whole community including more than 50 market stalls, activities, music, and more. Entry is free.
