Sign up in the south west

Published 24/08/2013

Are you interested in volunteering with Victoria State Emergency Service and live in the state's south west?

If you answered yes to both questions, you should head down to Geelong SES' Unit Headquarters on Wednesday 28 August to find out how you can get involved.

Sessions are being run from 10am-1pm and 6pm-9pm at 4 Wood Street, South Geelong and everyone is invited.

A variety of roles are available in SES units at Bannockburn, Bellarine, Corio, Geelong, South Barwon, Torquay and Winchelsea.

SES volunteers can perform a variety of duties - anything from operating chainsaws to co-ordinating administration.

As a member of the SES team you will receive accredited training, learn new skills and make new friends while helping your community in times of need.

You can register your interest at southwest@ses.vic.gov.au or on 1300 842 737. Learn more at our Volunteer page.
