Tatura SES recruitment drive
Victoria State Emergency Service's (SES) Tatura Unit is hoping to bolster its ranks with some new members.
To promote the unit to new members and outline SES volunteers' roles and responsibilities, they will hold an obligation-free information session at 7.30pm on Thursday 18 July at the corner Russell and Martin Streets, Tatura.
The unit is particularly looking to recruit volunteers for operational responses such as road rescues and general rescues for floods, storms and emergencies, as well as non-operational roles including administration, communications and operational support (for example, truck driving).
To register your attendance, please phone (03) 5824 1910 or email email@example.com
SES responds to flood, storm, earthquake and tsunami emergencies and provides education to residents about how to prepare themselves. A range of roles are available to volunteers to suit all ability and mobility levels, and accredited training is provided.
