VEMI Community Open Day

The Victorian Emergency Management Institute (VEMI) will open the doors to its new facility at Mount Macedon for a Community Open Day on Sunday 29 April 2018.

The new facility was opened in February 2018 to provide the emergency management sector with more opportunities to learn, acquire new skills and build on skills in preparing, responding and recovering from emergencies.

The community event will feature activities including emergency service displays, tours of the buildings and garden, Virtual Reality demonstrations, golf competitions, kids face painting and a barbecue fundraiser to support local scouts groups. 

Activities will be held from 11AM – 3PM at VEMI, 601 Mount Macedon Road, Mount Macedon.
