VICSES deployed to support Queensland fires

Along with our emergency service partners across the state, the Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) yesterday deployed two members to help assist in emergency management support to Queensland. 

All together 36 incident management and specialist personnel from Victoria travelled north yesterday to support our interstate colleagues and the Queensland communities during the devastating fires.

The experienced personnel from a number of Victorian emergency response agencies will be deployed to Kendron, Boonah Airfield, Canungra, Rockhampton and Toowoomba.

The Victorian contingent includes:

•    Two people from VICSES
•    Five people from MFB
•    Seven people from DELWP
•    Seven people from Parks Victoria
•    15 people from CFA
