If you have good people skills, enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute to your community, an associate membership may be ideal. You'll be involved in a number of non-operational roles including:
- Community education
- Social media management
- Equipment maintenance
- Catering during events
- Administrative support

Fundraising is essential for VICSES units to raise extra funds via their local community in order to replace certain equipment and vehicles within their unit.
Processing of membership applications and identification cards; and assisting with community education, public relations and operational events.
Social club/auxiliary committees
Behind any good VICSES unit is always an auxiliary team, who provide catering for events, support the fundraising team and organise social events for VICSES members and their families
