Bunnings Warehouses across Australia are holding BBQs this Saturday 24 January 2015 to raise money for local emergency services including Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) and Country Fire Authority (CFA) volunteers.
VICSES has had a long and successful relationship with Bunnings and is proud to be recognised as part of this initiative.
VICSES Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Griffin, also expressed his gratitude.
“VICSES says a big thankyou to Bunnings, they have always supported VICSES volunteers and their local communities and this fundraiser is another shining example of that,” he said.
Team members from Bunnings Warehouse, volunteers, family and friends are cooking the BBQ as a way of saying thanks to all fire and emergency services volunteers and every cent raised is going to support the fantastic work that emergency service volunteers do every day.
Family activities and fun games will also be running at some local Bunnings Warehouse throughout the day.
