Stephen (Steve) Griffin begins his appointment as Chief Executive Officer for the Victoria State Emergency Service (SES) today.
Steve has come to SES from the Geelong City Council where he has been CEO for the past five years.
Prior to this appointment, Steve has collected over 28 years of local government experience including City of Melbourne, City of Werribee and the Wyndham City Council, where he was the recovery manager.
Throughout his career, Steve has had the opportunity to work with SES units across Victoria and is excited about taking on the lead role in the agency.
Steve is looking forward to meeting SES volunteers and staff over the coming months.
