National Rugby League Emergency Services Cup

This year VICSES is proud to be joining forces with fellow emergency service agencies and Melbourne Storm to be a part of the National Rugby League (NRL) Emergency Services Cup.

Melbourne Storm will be facing arch rivals the St. George Illawarra Dragons on Thursday 5 July at AAMI Park to battle it out for the Emergency Services Cup title. 

This is the tenth consecutive year Storm and the Dragons have played off for the Emergency Services Cup since it was first launched in 2009 after Victoria's Black Saturday Bushfires. The annual showdown is played in recognition of emergency service personnel who dedicate their lives to their local communities across the Victoria and New South Wales.
