Shine a Light on Road Safety

Shine a Light on Road Safety is a national community campaign to highlight the services provided by Road Trauma Support Services Victoria (RTSSV) and how we can all play a part in road safety. The 2018 campaign is part of National Road Safety Week. 

Throughout the first week of May several events will be held to generate awareness, stop death and injuries on our roads, and to raise funds to support those impacted by road trauma.

Turn on your headlights 
On Friday 4 May 2018 turn on your headlights to demonstrate a commitment to road safety.

Melbourne walk
Join the community walk and BBQ from 11am to 1pm on Sunday 6 May 2018 at Albert Park Lake, Melbourne.

Illuminations
From Monday 30 April till Sunday 6 May key icons across Australia will illuminated in yellow. 

VICSES is the major provider of road crash rescue for Victoria, operating 102 road crash rescue units across the state. VICSES members are encouraged to show support by downloading the campaigns digital toolkit for use on social media and other channels.
