Victorian Premier's Volunteer Awards are open!

The Victorian Premier's Volunteer Awards are an opportunity to recognise, thank and celebrate the significant contribution of Victoria's volunteers.

Established in 2013, the awards recognise people who give freely of their time to enhance the lives of Victorians. In addition to recognition, winners of the awards will receive a donation for their chosen charity.

The Premier is calling for nominations of outstanding volunteer achievements and contributions to Victorian not-for-profit, community and voluntary organisations or projects.

Nominations close on Friday 1 August 2014, so now is the time to nominate someone.

Award recipients will be announced on Sunday 12 October 2014.
