What are you doing for Wear Orange Wednesday?

There’s no doubt that SES volunteers are an incredible group of people. They dedicate time and effort to train, prepare and be ready to help in an emergency. They respond to calls all hours of the night and day.

They lead the response to floods, storms, tsunamis, earthquakes and landslides. They’re Australia’s largest road rescue provider, and they support other emergency agencies such as Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police, the Country Fire Authority and the Metropolitan Fire Brigade.

They do all of this as a volunteer!

Let’s show our thanks

On Wednesday 10 May we invite you to wear orange – weather it is a hat, a funky orange tie, jazzy orange shoes or an all-in-one shiny onesie.

On Wear Orange Wednesday, take a pic and post it on social media with the hashtags #thankyouses #wowday to show your support.

Join the Facebook event and invite others.
