The event is a professional development workshop for SES regional staff who deliver training to volunteers with the aim being to promote consistency throughout the organisation.

Dutch manufacturer Holmatro are bringing their latest tools to demonstrate their maximum spreading, cutting and crushing ability in a safe and controlled environment while providing staff with the latest equipment information.

VICSES is the largest road rescue provider in Australia, with volunteers responding to 1355 road rescues in the last 12 months.

Founded in the Netherlands in 1967–Holmatro is a leading global supplier of hydraulic equipment and services. A former firefighter, De Zanger is now a professional rescue consultant with Halmatro and will impart a wealth of knowledge to SES staff regarding extrication techniques and procedures.
