Registrations now open for the 2025 Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games
Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) personnel across Victoria are encouraged to register for the 2025 Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games (VPESG), taking place from Sunday 5 to Sunday 12 October across metropolitan Melbourne and key regional centres including Geelong and Bendigo.
Now in its 44th year, the VPESG continues to grow, offering more than 40 sports and over 175 unique events, catering for about 3,000 emergency service personal across a wide range of sports including angling, equestrian, open water swimming, cricket, rock climbing, and last year’s newly added pickleball, the world’s fastest-growing sport.
The Games provide a unique opportunity for members of Victoria’s emergency services to come together outside of their operational roles, fostering camaraderie, resilience, and wellbeing through sport and friendly competition.
Each year, around 100 VICSES volunteers and staff participate in the Games, following the expansion of eligibility in 2002 to include members of Victoria Police’s Emergency Service partner agencies. Today, 24 emergency service organisations are eligible to compete.
The 2025 Games were officially launched at the Victoria Police Academy, with representatives from across the sector in attendance to celebrate the spirit of collaboration and community.
