Significant storm response - 13/2

As at 7:30pm Tuesday, VICSES has now received over 2,000 calls for assistance since midday. That number continues to climb with ongoing thunderstorm activity.

There are also a significant number of power outages state-wide.

Please be patient both when calling 132-500 and in waiting for our volunteers to respond and clear all jobs as quickly as possible.

Warnings remain in the east and north of the state for damaging and locally destructive winds.

Busiest volunteer units include SES Monash, Corio and Emerald Units.
